The Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of Commerce (KIPA) is the only audiovisual chamber of commerce in Poland, and is one of the largest independent business organisations in the country. KIPA associates more than 140 entities, including companies specialising in producing films, TV programmes and advertisements as well as film schools, and Regional Film Funds (RFF).
Since its inception in 2000, the Chamber has been actively involved in the growth and advancement of the Polish audiovisual industry. The primary task of KIPA is to represent the commercial interests of its members, especially in matters involving government administration and key players on the audiovisual market. KIPA works to integrate the community of producers. It is a platform for exchanging experience and collaborating, and provides information on changes to legislation, including taxation legislation, and major events in the industry. KIPA further ensures access to legal services with the best specialists in a range of issues associated with the audiovisual industry, and helps draft, distribute and promote the rules of professional ethics. The Chamber additionally organises regular training sessions and workshops for industry professionals, and promotes the work of its members.
Mission: To increase opportunities for audiovisual producers, provide business support services to strengthen their companies’ competitiveness and innovation, represent members in matters related to economic, government, legal, and community relations as well as enhance collaboration, networking and learning in Poland and abroad.
Vision: KIPA is recognized as the only Chamber of Commerce in Polish AV sector and is respected in the community of audiovisual producers. It is an advocate at all levels of Polish economy, influences member’s economic opportunities and value added benefits to make their companies sustainable on the more competitive international AV market.
